• Diagnosing application crashes, optimizing performance, and providing customer support.

4. Zero Sale of Data & Advertising Protection

We operate with a strict zero-compromise approach toward user data monetization:

• No Data Sales: We do not sell, rent, trade, or license personal or health information to pharmaceutical companies, advertising exchanges, or commercial data aggregators.
• No Targeted Ad Tracking: Fakarni does not utilize Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID for third-party cross-app behavioral tracking.
• Trusted Subprocessors: We only partner with certified enterprise infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare R2 for encrypted storage, Google Firebase for push messaging, and RevenueCat for mobile subscription validation).

We employ multi-layer security protections to safeguard your health records:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmissions between client applications and backend APIs are secured with TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption.
• Encryption at Rest: All stored documents, lab results, and database volumes are encrypted using AES-256 standard encryption.
• On-Device Privacy: Optional biometric locks prevent unauthorized local access to your medical center and prescriptions.

6. Data Retention & Permanent Deletion

Your records are retained only as long as you maintain an active account with us:

• When you request account deletion, all personal data, health histories, photos, and voice notes are immediately removed from active systems.
• Encrypted backup archives are completely purged within a maximum of 30 days.
• You can execute instant account deletion in-app (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or online at fakarni.app/data-deletion.

7. User Rights & Data Governance (GDPR / Egyptian Law 151/2020)

You have full legal control over your personal data at all times, including:

• Right to Access & Portability: View and export all your medical logs and records.
• Right to Rectification: Edit or update any profile or medication information instantly.
• Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Permanently wipe your account and all associated data.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke microphone, camera, or notification permissions anytime via device settings.

8. Children's Privacy Protection

Fakarni is not intended for independent use by children under 16 without parental supervision. Parents or legal guardians may create and manage health profiles for their dependent children strictly within the supervised Family Circle feature.

9. Clinical & Non-Diagnostic Medical Disclaimer

Fakarni is an informational reminder and personal health tracking utility. It is NOT a medical device, diagnostic clinical tool, or licensed healthcare provider. The service does not formulate diagnoses or prescribe treatments. Always consult your physician or pharmacist regarding health decisions. In a medical emergency, immediately contact local emergency medical services.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect regulatory developments or feature enhancements. Material changes will be communicated via in-app alert or email prior to taking effect, with the revision date displayed at the top of this document.
