Terms of Service & End User License Agreement (EULA)

These terms govern your access to and use of the Fakarni mobile applications and web companion dashboard. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the End User License Agreement (EULA).

Fakarni is not a medical device, licensed doctor, clinic, or diagnostic health provider. The app is designed exclusively as an organizational reminder and personal health tracking utility. It does not provide clinical diagnoses, prescriptive guidance, or emergency dispatch services. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information stored or presented in the app. In a medical emergency, immediately call local emergency medical services (Egypt: 123 | US: 911 | UK: 999 | EU: 112).

1. End User License Agreement (EULA)

Fakarni grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes on your iOS and Android devices, subject to these Terms and the terms of service of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

2. In-App Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (Apple Guideline 3.1.2 & Google Play Compliant)

Fakarni provides auto-renewable premium subscription plans titled Fakarni Plus to unlock high-tier productivity and storage features:

Monthly Plan (Fakarni Plus Monthly)

Product ID: plus_monthly

  • Duration: 1 Month, auto-renewing.
  • Unlimited medication alarms with high-priority audio.
  • Encrypted cloud storage for lab reports & radiology scans.
  • Dental procedure archive and vehicle maintenance logs.

Annual Plan (Fakarni Plus Annual)

Product ID: plus_annual (Best Value)

  • Duration: 12 Months, auto-renewing at discounted annual rate.
  • All monthly features plus priority cloud synchronization.
  • Family Caregiver circle linking and emergency alerts.
  • Unlimited high-resolution Cloudflare R2 backup archiving.

Billing, Auto-Renewal & Payment Terms:

  • Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account (for iOS users) or your Google Play Account (for Android users) at confirmation of purchase.
  • Automatic Renewal: The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
  • Renewal Billing: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the standard rate of the selected plan.
  • Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that product.
  • Restoring Purchases: You can restore active purchases on any device tied to the same Apple ID or Google account by tapping the "Restore Purchases" button located in checkout and settings.

How to Cancel Your Subscription Anytime:

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. When cancelled, access to Plus features will remain active until the end of the prepaid billing cycle, with no subsequent charges:

  • For iOS Users: Open your iPhone Settings > Tap your Apple ID name > Tap Subscriptions > Select Fakarni > Tap Cancel Subscription.
  • For Android Users: Open the Google Play Store > Tap your profile icon > Select Payments & subscriptions > Tap Subscriptions > Select Fakarni > Tap Cancel Subscription.

3. Account Integrity and Local Biometrics

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. We strongly recommend enabling biometric app locks (Face ID / Fingerprint) to safeguard medical history stored locally. All data collection is governed by our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive source code from the application.
  • Use automated scripts or scrapers to access backend APIs without authorization.
  • Upload malicious files, corrupt payloads, or materials that infringe third-party rights.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, design, original content, algorithms, trademarks, and logos remain the exclusive intellectual property of Fakarni and its licensors, protected by copyright and intellectual property treaties worldwide.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is delivered on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fakarni shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from missed medication doses, notification delivery failures due to OS battery savers, local network disconnections, or user typographical entry errors.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory statutory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction of residence. Competent courts in Cairo shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
